Don Parker Holds On in Lake Charles for his First Victory of 2008 Season
6 April 2008 - Lake Charles, LA - Don Parker from Houston, Texas, defeated Jeffrey Smith from the Dallas, Texas Metroplex by one stroke after 54 holes of medal play in the second Texas PPA Tour event of the year. Qualifying spots were won by Parker and Smith in medal play and Tom Robertson and Charles Cox in match play. Adam Sahmel from Huffman, Texas, defeated Mike Huckaby from Arlington, Texas by one stroke at the end of 54 holes of medal play in the second Texas APA Tour event for the year. Qualifying spots were won by Sahmel and Huckaby in medal play and Ken Stanfill and Trevor Lewin in match play.
