Cliff Matthews
aces hole one and never looked back for a 10 shot victory in what
may be the last Texas Putting Tour event at the Division course in
Arlington Texas. The course is slated to be torn down later this
year to make room for the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium. Cliff opened up
a with the low round of the day 25 and was in command as
Jeffrey Smith
finished second and closed the gap to 10 with his last round 26 to
catch 5 shots on Matthews. Cliff also won a qualifying spot for the
year end TPT Championship in Webster, TX for his efforts as did
James Taylor
from Lubbock Texas who finished 3rd, twelve shots behind Matthews.

Ken Stanfill
wins his second TPT APA title this year. Ken Stanfill of Waco, TX
trailed Mike
Huckaby by 1 shot after round one but opened up a six shot lead over
the field after round two. Huckaby finished 2nd to Stanfill 5 shots back
as Dallas Texan
Trevor Lewin finished 3rd ahead of
Rob Martin who
was 4th. Lewin and Martin won year end TPT championship spots for their
efforts. In match play
Pat Simpson
and Mickey
DeLucca also won spots. Lewin's spot gave him four for the year,
tying him with
Alan Sahmel.
