Jerry Pinotti Wins
2008 PPA Northern Open Title

24 August 2008 - Louisville, KY - Jerry Pinotti of Jeffersonville, IN, fired a final round 22, 14 under par, to pull ahead of third round leader, Greg Newport to earn victory in the 2008 PPA Northern Open.  Pinotti's total of 92, 52 under par, was enough for a narrow one-stroke victory over 2007 PPA Proputters.Com Champion Greg Newport, and a five stroke victory over Jay Klapper.  Brad Lebo and Greg Ward finished tied for fourth at 98.  The win by Pinotti was his first National tournament victory.  

In the APA division, Bonnie White of Tiffin, OH posted a 72-hole total of 108, 36 under par, good enough for a two-stroke victory over Tom Russell and 2007 APA Tournament Player's Champion Brandon Davis. Anthony Russell finished in fourth place at 111 and Jeff Brown closed out the top 5 at 112.
