Carr completed his regulation play at 82 and was tied with Bonnie White and Barry Moore for first after the 54 hole event.
Carr and White were battling each other in the playoff while Moore was nowhere in reach. Carr was up as many as three strokes after a 10 on the front and held the lead by three with five holes remaining. Carr bogeyed hole 14 while White followed it with an ace and then lost the other stroke when White made 15 before Carr missed. Carr was in front one final time after he aced 16 and two more that followed sealed his third win of the season and as many in the last eight days.
