Greg Ward Edges Randy Reeves for Victory
Greg Ward23 September 2006 - Spartanburg, SC - Greg Ward made up a four-shot first round deficit and squeaked out a win over Randy Reeves. Ward fired back-to-back 25's to post a one-stroke win in the Spartanburg Open on Saturday afternoon.
Ward won for the third time this season with a score of 77. Reeves, who led after the opening round with a 23, finished alone in second at 78. Rick Culverhouse finished alone in third at 80 and is within reach of the Southern Tour Player of the Year.

Dennis Biesma Wins Second Straight
23 September 2006 - Spartanburg, SC - Dennis Biesma maintained his brilliant performance he portrayed earlier in the day and was victorious once again. After a much slower start in the back end of the doubleheader, Biesma regained control and shot 51 over the final two rounds and propelled to victory when a final round of 25 superseded Jeff Carr's dismal closing round of 31.
Biesma shot 81 to complete the doubleheader sweep. Carr came in second at 83. Caleb Kennedy and Larry Smith each came in third at 85.
