James Taylor Earns First Professional Victory
1 April 2006 - Lawton, OK - In the pro division James Taylor edged out Lee Messinger by one stroke to obtain his first professional win. Lee Messinger and James Taylor were all within one stroke of each other going into the final round. James took the lead in the front nine of the third round and held off Lee through the 18. James and Lee received spots. In the amateur division Jason Van Buskirk puts down an 87, the lowest total score of the day, to win over David Chisum who has playing course 2 in Lawton better than any other putter pro or amateur over the last couple of seasons.
