Chris Enders Holds on for One Stroke Victory in Ponca City, OK

14 May 2005 - Ponca City, OK - A cool breeze greeted the putters in Oklahoma as they started the tournament located north of I-40. The course was still wet from the rain the night before.

Chris Enders posted a one stroke victory on the PPA Oklahoma State Tour in Ponca City over Greg Sandlin. Rounds of 30, 29 and 35 allowed Chris to finish with a 94 and the tournament win. Chris Enders and Greg Sandlin received state spots for medal play and Bob Nelson defeated Steve Yates to receive the state spot for match play.

In the APA, World Match Play Champion Mike Foster put in a 6 shot lead over Scott Schuler and Danny Hoel at 101. Mike Foster received the state spot for medal and the Van Bus Kirk's, Jimmy and Jason, came through the match play to receive state spots.
