Completes Weekend Sweep with Lewisville Victory

With Sunday came the chance for Lee Messinger to
continue his winning streak through two tours (Oklahoma and Texas).
Sunday's victim was north of Dallas in Lewisville, TX. Lewisville is
the home course to
Lee Messinger,
Jeffrey Smith,
Keith Barfield
and Trevor
Lewin. They would show home field advantage this day.

and David Lynch
would jump out to an early lead with 27's. Barfield and Messinger
were not that far away with 28's. Mike Chisum and Jeff Smith would
keep them in sight with 29's. Jeff Smith's and Lee Messinger's
27's would be the low rounds in the second, but only Lee's 27 was
good enough to tie the lead at 55 with David Lynch. Wade Sahmel was
also tied for third with Smith at 57.
Lee Messinger decided to take matters in his
own hands and shot a final round 25 to finish with an 80 and
continue his recent dominance on the Oklahoma and Texas state tours.
Jeff Smith shot a 28 to secure second with 84 with David Lynch in
third at 85. Jeff smith and
James Taylor
earned the Oklahoma State Tour spots.
In the APA, it was a one man show.
Trevor Lewin
shot a 26 in the first round and never looked back. Lewin shot a
pair of 29's to finish with an 84. This sealed the home course
advantage at Lewisville. Runner-up, 7 strokes back was

VanBuskirk who took the runner-up trophy in a
three hole playoff against
Danny Hoel
who also shot 91. Trevor Lewin, Bertz Ferguson and Donny Halpain all
earned Oklahoma State Tour spots.
