rounds of 26, 29 and 30 to post a two stroke victory over
Craig Williams,
Robb Titchell and
Ken Hastings in
the 2005 PPA Great Lakes Tour season opening tournament in
Monroeville, PA. Cold conditions coupled with wind and rain pushed
the scores higher with only five of the 16 professional breaking 90
for the 54 hole medal play tournament.
Harry Sykes won the
professional match play claiming the second 2005 PPA Great Lakes
Tour Championship qualification spot.
Scott Copeland defeated Don Matthews in a playoff for the amateur division victory. Copeland and Matthews tied at 88 to force the playoff. Gerald Vick won the amateur match play.
