2004 Red River Cup Format

Saturday (October 23rd):

  1. Better ball (36 hole medal play matches)

  2. Alternate shot (36 hole medal play matches) - One partner on the tee at the odd numbered holes, the other partner on the tee for the even numbered holes

  3. Singles (36 hole medal play matches)

Sunday (October 24th):

  1. Doubles (36 hole medal play matches)

  2. Better ball ((36 hole medal play matches)

  3. Singles (36 hole medal play matches)

Notes:

  • All matches end at 36 holes. All Square matches are halved. One point to the team that wins each match. One-half point to each team if the match is halved.

  • Before each round the captains will exchange lineups- 1 through 4 or 1 through 8. Numbers 1 will tee off first, followed by 2,3, etc. All matches start on the first hole.

  • Saturday start 11:00 a.m. Sunday start 10:00 a.m.

  • If the final score is 16-16, each captain will select one player for an 18 hole medal play match to determine the winner.
