2004 PPA South Carolina State Tour Clayton Cup Team

13 October 2003 - The 2004 South Carolina PPA Tour has announced its Clayton Cup team for 2004 and will be the host team in Columbia on the weekend of October 16 & 17. The team will be co-captained this year by their 2004 Player of the Year Andy Coradini and the 2004 Palmetto Classic champion Michael Hitt. The South Carolina team is looking to win their first Clayton Cup since winning their last one on their home turf in Spartanburg in 2001.

The South Carolina Team returns nine of the ten players from the 2003 campaign, with Bob Jackson as the 10th player and competing in his first ever Clayton Cup. They are going for their third Cup and will be facing against the defending champions Virginia team, as well as the Great Lakes and North Carolina teams.

2004 PPA Virginia State Tour Clayton Cup Team

11 October 2003 - The Virginia State Tour, defending Clayton Cup champions from 2003, bring a team captained by Brad Lebo and Vince Batten. Also returning from the 2003 team are Darrell Anderson, 2004 PPA World Match Play Champion, Mike Brown, Matt Summey, Gilbert Sharpe and Daryl Freeman. New to the team for 2004 are Rusty Taylor, Bill Baus and Bart Bason.

2004 PPA North Carolina State Tour Clayton Cup Team

12 October 2003 - The North Carolina State Tour formally announced the North Carolina Tour's Clayton Cup Team for the 2004 matches in Columbia, South Carolina on October 16th and 17th. The team brings back five players from last year's squad including 2004 PPA National Team Champions Greg Newport and Rick Rybaczek, along with Ray Guthrie, Bob Haizlip, and Billy Caudle. The team also includes Thomas Rawles and first time Clayton Cup participants Randy Carter, Steve Lyon, Michael Cardwell, and Rick Culverhouse. Greg Newport and Ray Guthrie will serve as Co-Captains for this year's event.

2004 PPA Great Lakes Tour Clayton Cup Team

6 October 2003 - The Great Lakes Tour formally announced the Great Lakes Tour's Clayton Cup Team for the 2004 matches in Columbia, South Carolina on October 16th and 17th. The 2004 Great Lakes Tour Clayton Cup Team is lead by team captain Kevin Lacey, 2004 PPA Great Lakes Tour Champion. The team brings just three players from the 2003 Great Lakes Tour Clayton Cup Team, Kevin Lacey, Paul Johns and Robin Ventura, with Charlie Greenwalt, Jay Hadsell, Nate Nichols and James Weber making their first appearance in the annual matches.

2004 PPA Great Lakes Tour Hancock Cup Team

6 October 2003 - The 2004 Great Lakes Tour Hancock Cup Team is captained by Andy McCoy who is making his first appearance in the Hancock Cup matches since 2001. The 2004 team returns four of the six players who finished a disappointing fourth place in the 2003 Hancock Cup matches in Fredericksburg, VA. Barb Mingo returns to the team for the 2004 matches after not qualifying in 2003.
