Shawn Gilliland shot a 3 round total 83 to win the "Wabash Open"
by one shot over Columbus Touring Pro
Tom Gross.
Gilliland put together rounds of 25, (which was a course record at
the time) 28 and 30 to finish 25 under par. Gross carded rounds of
30, 25 (to tie Gilliland's Course record)
29 to finish at 24 under par 84.

Nate
Nichols and Paul May tied for third at 21 under par 87.
In Match Play Tim Greenert picked up his first win of the season
defeating Nate Nichols in the 36 hole final. Greenert defeated Jim
Payne and
Danny
Holcomb to advance to the finals while Nichols defeated
John
Ventura and
Charlie Greenwalt to advance.
Bill Hammons Sweeps APA
Wabash Open
7 June 2003 - Wabash, IN -
Bill Hammons
won the APA Wabash Open Tournament by shooting a three round total
86. Hammons put together rounds of 31, 29 and 26 to finish 22 under
par. The victory put Hammons well ahead in the 2003 APA Indiana Tour
Points Race. In Match play Hammons won by default because no other
amateurs entered the tournament.
