2002 PPA Georgia State Championship and Sets PPA Scoring Record

Randy
Reeves broke the 29-year-old PPA scoring record for a 144-hole
(8 round) tournament on Sunday, September 15th, when he completed a
final round 26 to post a score of 192. The previous record, held by
Daryl Freeman who fired a 193 in the 1973 PPA National Championship,
had been one of the longest standing records in the PPA.
Andy
Coradini, who fired a 193 finished in second, eight strokes
ahead of
Todd Fowler who finished in third at 201. Andy Coradini set a
PPA scoring record for 6 consecutive rounds firing a 139 for rounds
3 through 8 to nearly catch Reeves.Recap and Scores provided by
