Texas State Tour Letter 2001

Greetings and Salutations fellow putters, and welcome newcomers, to the beginning of a new and hopefully a better season of putting. Before I explain what's going on, I'd like to thank each and everyone of you who made last year possible. State weekend was a success due to much improved attendance. My goal was to personally try and improve the tour as whole. More prize money for the PPA division, more expense reimbursement for the APA division, and to try and improve attendance in the Open division. I've also been pleased with the response (and complaints) that you (The Tour) have voiced in your opinions through our questionnaire at the end of the year. All I've ever tried to do was listen and respect what you have wanted to do. All in all, thank you for letting me try to be a good tournament director. My last main objective is to try and make this the best tournament program in the country, and I hope it's yours as well. With much respect, I'm proud to be a Texas Putting Tour member.

Let's go on…
