David Lynch Sweeps Weekend on
Texas State Tour
1 April 2001 - Hurst, TX - In the professional division David
Lynch completed a weekend sweep with a start to finish victory at the
Hurst course shooting a solid 81, giving him a five stroke victory in
the windy conditions. The rest of the field was bunched within four
strokes of each other going into the final round. Chris Conradi was able
to shoot a 27 in the last round to take second place.
In the amateur division Steve Tanton came out of a bunched pack going
into the last round with the lowest round of the day at 25 to take the
victory by one stroke over Jack
Ramsey. Steve also completed a sweep of
the weekend events with this victory.
