Kevin Lacey & Dave Nutini Best In State Better Ball Tournament

PPA Touring Pro - Kevin Lacey PPA Touring Pro - Dave Nutini

25 August 2001 - Columbus, IN - Kevin Lacey and Dave Nutini teamed up to win the PPA State Better Ball Tournament. The pair fired a 54-hole total 37 under par 71 to best the team of Jim Garrison and Jeff Garrison by 4 shots. The team of John Ventura and Mark Hasty finished third another 3 shots back at 31 under par 77. Tom Gross and Jim Bryant teamed up to post a 29 under par 79 and take home 4th place honors.

Bill Hammons & Danny Holcomb Win APA Event

25 August 2001 - In the amateur contest the team of Bill Hammons and Danny Holcomb teamed up to win the title by defeating Nate Nichols and Mike Moon in an 18-hole playoff after both teams tied with a 27 under par 81 after 54 holes.
