Northern Open Bracket (Regional Pro Qualifiers)

The regional pro playoff will begin at 12:00 Noon on Monday, September 13, 1999 for spots in both the Northern and Southern Open brackets. Since the playoffs are being played concurrently, regional pros will only be allowed one qualifying spot (as specified in the 1999 Membership and Tournament Guide).

Please note that the players were put into these brackets assuming that all regional pros took the spots in the tournament. The only spots that are known to be correct are those from the Eastern Open in Fayetteville, NC. The spots from the Southern Open and Western Open are being researched and a note will posted when then have been confirmed. Please note that only 3 regional pros competed in the Southern Open in Albany, GA so the Albany spots #4 through #8 will be TBA.

Regional Pros will have another chance to enter the Eastern and Western Open brackets. The highest un-seeded National or Regional Pro in both the $2,000 Orange Lake Open on September 14th and the $2,000 Woods & Gray Open on September 15th will qualify for a spot in the Western and Eastern Open brackets respectively.

An astute reader will note that the Woods & Gray Open is scheduled for the morning of September 15th and the Eastern Open bracket is scheduled for play on September 14th at 1:00 PM. It is anticipated that the qualifying spot from the Orange Lake Open (9:00 AM on September 14th) will go to the Eastern Open bracket (1:00 PM on September 14th) and the spot from the Woods & Gray Open (9:00 AM on September 15th) will go to the Western Open bracket (1:00 PM on September 15th). However, this has not been confirmed so all Regional and National Pros should be aware of a potential change in the schedule of events during the week of the Nationals.
