Holt Retains Top Money Position in National PPPGA Circuit

TAMPA, FL   …Frank Holt, young pro from Savannah, Georgia who has gained the title of the "Sam Snead of Putt Putt", breezed through the 108 hole 216 par route in the fifth national PPPGA tournament of the 1960 season on June 25 in Tampa, Florida. He shot 195, an amazing 21 under par, for first place money of $1,000.00. His national winnings had already totaled $1,450.00 prior to the Tampa tourney, plus an additional $100 won for placing first in the May15th Augusta, Georgia PPPGA local, and third place money of $15 won in a pre-season PPPGA tournament in Savannah, Georgia.
